Malay Wedding Video

One of my first Malay weddings that I have shot. As I don’t speak or understand the Malay language, I did some research about the ceremony and process of a traditional Malay wedding. The bride also explained what are some of the key moments and highlights. At the first location in Park Hotel, we shot the make up touch ups and getting ready scenes including the bridal veil nikah and wearing of the songkok (traditional hat). There were also betrothal gifts for each families as well as the duit hantaran (bride price). At the main Concorde Hotel Hall, we proceeded with the Akad Nikah (Solemnisation) and finally Majlis Persandingan (Enthronement Ceremony).
